Week 13 Update

29 Apr

This week was slightly better than the last few. I’m coming out of my funk… I think.

The week in workouts:

Monday- Total steps 6,100

Tuesday- Walk around Magic Kingdom with Kelly. Total steps 12,000

Wednesday– 30 minutes on the elliptical. Total steps 10,600

Thursday- Long walk with my friend Melanie and her dog Chloe. Molly came along, too! Total steps 8,200

Friday- I didn’t do much walking, but I did head to Typhoon Lagoon for the afternoon and did a lot of treading water in the tidal wave pool. I could definitely feel it in my legs the day after!

Saturday- Just a lot of long walks with Molly. Total steps 6,100

Sunday- Another day at a water park, but this time it was Blizzard Beach. And then I spent that night walking around Hollywood Studios with Kelly. I didn’t wear the FitBit to the water park, but I’m pretty sure I got over 10,000 steps that day.

In other news, I’ve been binge-watching How I Met Your Mother like a crazy person. I never watched it while it was on, and my mom already spoiled the ending, but I cannot.stop.watching! I’ve gotten through seasons 1-7 in just a few weeks.

Once I’m done with HIMYM, what show should I start binge-watching and why?

    I vote for binge watching The Big Bang Theory or House! BBT makes me laugh out loud all the time. House is actually pretty hilarious too, in a clever way. The writing of both shows is pretty clever, although I would say House tops BBT in that realm. Which reminds me, I need to binge watch House so I can get all caught up again and watch the last season, which I never saw!

    Have you checked out Parenthood? Its on netflix and the last season is on Hulu Plus. So good. If you like british period stuff, the version of Pride and Prejudice with Colin Firth is on Amazon Instant Video right now. You are really lucky to have so many things to do near your house.

    TEA CUPS!!!!! I would say binge watch Big Bang Theory or Vampire Diaries. :) Damon alone is worth watching that show. Ahem.

    Congrats on the Marathon! I’m on the fence about signing up for my first 1/2. My fear of failure/perfectionist personality is getting in the way :S

    Pretty Little Liars. It’s totally geared towards late-teens/early-20s but I can’t stop watching. Prison Break is also a really addictive show. The Walking Dead is what has me hooked right now. I had NO idea what I was missing. SO GOOD!
